Although summer is a season in technicality but in Toronto it’s also famously known as ‘Patio Season’. The Ontario government is in the first phase of re-opening  the city which means restaurants that have patio can sit up to 4 people on the same table outdoors.

Even though I haven’t been to a whole lot of restaurants but there are a few that I have been to and this blog contains my top 3 recommendations in different price ranges.

  • Madison Avenue Pub – Just off Spadina subway station, Maddy’s is a well-known spot to chill in a budget friendly manner. It’s a popular student hangout with 3 Victorian mansions being converted into 6 British styled pub. What I absolutely love about this place is that it has so much patio space at so many levels and even the indoor space is plenty.

And if you’re a sports fan, then you’re in for a treat as they have screen spread across to watch some live action and have those chilled beers. Must try the Lemon Pepper chicken wings ….
